Natalie a mechanic?
Heyooo!
So for the past few days Ive been waiting… slaving…. & more waiting.. on my car. Yes! Under the hood getting all greasy and such. I, of course, had help and guidance from someone who knows whats hes doing. Anyhow, it all started with an oil change and replacing a brake light bulb… Simple task right?! Indeed the oil change was but then to my luck the belt busted off and shred into a zillion pieces. OK so replace the belt and Im good to go right?! I think not!! That would be far too easy! lol So after inspection I find the engine thermostat housing is cracked. We take a few pieces off to get a better look… labor is not to bad at this point. We concur that this probably has to be replaced but we decided to try and give it a patch job. Of course that failed miserably lol. So I hop online and find the piece on the ford website…. $300 part!!! I say F that and hit up the trusty ebay :) I got so lucky! Only one part on the whole site! Its used but also only $30 with shipping… Seller seems solid so I get it… So today was the big job. Take to retake everything off then decided the radiator has to come off too. Not a big deal to my surprise… More like an unknown puzzle. I actually learned a lot about my engine and Im not so scared to get involved in it lol. So anways, we get everything off and get this bastard piece in… put everything back together and give her a test… MOTHER FUCKER bubbles just the smallest drop of water. I could barely see it and I have good eye sight. Anyhow, at this point, I can practically take these top parts off blindfolded. We examine and discuss our options… So we used some silicone around the o ring to ensure a tight seal. Now Im here waiting for the sealant to dry. Hopefully it works if not… Ill try replacing the thermostat and o ring… ugh I hope I didnt bore you too much with this. I know Im a little bored after, not to mention frustrated, after all this. Ive never done any work on my car before so none the less Im proud of myself for getting to it.Parts taken out

Well I think I might be the only person that is excited for this Friday and the release of Alice in Wonderland in 3D!!! I heard about the release a year ago and have been patiently waiting. Its finally here.. almost! Now I just have to find someone to come see it with me. Any takers? hehe :P I really hope its good and Mr Depp isnt too much of a fagmo. I couldnt stand to watch Willy Wonka all the way through. I know hes a good actor just didnt pull it off in that one. Well I guess we will just have to wait and see….
